Inlays

An inlay is recommended when a side of the tooth is destroyed or damaged while the remaining parts of it are solid. It differs from a crown because an inlay does not cover the whole tooth but only the damaged surfaces. The dentist will take an imprint of a specific part of a tooth and this specific part will be built, out of porcelain or ceramic, to repair your tooth while having the same color.
